What it is
For a service-firm owner, CashLift turns a daily cash inbox into a ranked list of what to collect, approve, or cut today in a read-only Studio Nova demo.
Decisions
- Organize the interface around cash decisions rather than raw reports.
- Keep route orchestration thin and business behaviour in explicit modules.
- Separate a public static demo from the protected production workspace.
What I cut
Dropped a report-first dashboard that listed every metric at once; the inbox keeps one ranked action list instead.
What I did
Designed and built the decision inbox and read-only Studio Nova demo end to end.
One decision
The public demo had to be inspectable without exposing production workspace data or mutation paths. I kept it on the separate `/demo/workspace` route with checked-in Studio Nova fixtures, while authenticated production data stays behind the protected workspace route and server boundary. That preserves a no-account, read-only tour at the cost of keeping the demo dataset intentionally static; the repository covers the boundary with public-demo/auth-boundary tests.
Screens
Honest boundary
The live demo is a read-only Studio Nova workspace. It does not move money, and this case study does not claim customers, revenue, conversion, or time savings.
